The Little Hideaway
Check-in information

Check-in: 4pm

Check-out: 10am

2 people

We look forward to welcoming you to our studio, the Little Hideaway,

where we hope you will be very happy. When mapping please use the address below.

Directions

Little Dower House, Crimp Hill, Old Windsor, Berkshire, SL4 2HL

The entrance to the estate sits on Crimp Hill Road, opposite Windsor Great Park. We share a post code with Sir Elton John next door. Please ignore your sat nav if it tries to take you up his long, straight tree-lined driveway.

Instead, enter through the open black gates which sit between two curved brick walls (pictured). Carry on past the cottage immediately on your left until you reach a fork in the driveway.

At this point turn right, and continue past the Little Dower House sign.  (Don't go left to the Dower House or Dower House cottage). Carry on around the bend until you reach a circular gravel roundabout outside the main house.

You have arrived!

Book the hot tub

Availability not guaranteed: As it’s attached to another property,

availability of the hot tub can only be confirmed within 24 hours.

We have a fabulous wood-fired hot tub, with hyrdo jets and colourful LED lights, with amazing views across to Windsor Castle and the surrounding countryside.

It costs £75 for up to 24 hours' use (and if no one has booked the other property, we'll give you a second night for free!). We can also arrange chocolates and bubbles on ice.

Please let us know as soon as you can if you’d like it. We can confirm the booking 24 hours in advance, and it takes 4 hours or more to get completely ready. Once confirmed, we'll send you a website link for easy booking.

Founded by William the Conqueror in the 11th century, it has since been the home of 40 monarchs.

Bears Rails Gate is the nearest entrance to Windsor Great Park, including the beautiful Long Walk and Deer Park.

Directions:

  1. Exit the property gates and turn right onto the road.

  2. Walk downhill for approximately 150 yards.

  3. As the road bends to the right (near the red post box), you’ll see the entrance to Crimp Hill Cemetery car park. (You can park here if needed.)

  4. From the car park, exit and turn right, then walk down the lane.

  5. Continue through the gate ahead to enter the park.

Savill Gardens - Directions

Alternative Access – Savill Garden & Surroundings

For easy access to lakes, ornamental gardens, and scenic dog-walking areas, we recommend visiting The Savill Garden.

There is convenient parking available at The Savill Garden, making it an ideal starting point to explore a variety of walking trails, lakes, and open green spaces within the park.
