The Victorian Lodge (1876) is a charming and quintessentially English country cottage on a private estate once owned by King Henry V111. It's nestled between Windsor Great Park and Sir Elton John's Woodside estate, at the entrance of a long driveway leading to the gardens of Little Dower House.
Enjoy magnificent views of Windsor Castle and breath taking sunsets from private wraparound gardens. The gardens contain an alfresco dining area with a barbecue, ample open space for games and entertaining, century-old oak trees and beautiful roses and flower beds. Inside the property you will find an open fireplace, a sumptuous welcome hamper, large comfortable bedrooms, a television equipped with all sports channels, Sky+ & Netflix to enjoy movie nights and much more.
During winter time The Victorian Lodge is made into a cosy Christmas wonderland with stockings, a roaring fire and a locally sourced Pine Christmas tree from a sustainable farm.

Closest train stations: Egham - 8 min drive. Windsor & Eton Riverside - 9 min drive. Slough - 17 min drive.
The number 8 bus connects the local village of Old Windsor with Windsor, Slough and surrounding towns. Reaching the bus stop outside Toby Carvery in Old Windsor takes 20-30 minutes on foot down a lightly steep hill. We recommend having access to a car where possible for your trip. For short trips down the road to Old Windsor or different entrances to Windsor Great Park we are often happy to offer guests a lift, and can offer two bikes free hire.
Uber and Bolt are available in this area, as well as lots of local taxi companies.

The Victorian Lodge is the perfect venue for intimate weddings and events. Enjoy stunning views of Windsor Castle from the romance of your own private gardens. With space for up to 50 day guests and 6 overnight guests. The Bridge and Groom or other family members can also choose to sleep in one of our other two exclusive on-site properties.
